LUCAS: Linda Sue Crum, 61, of Lucas, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 24, 2013 following a long battle with GBM brain cancer.
Linda was born September 25, 1951 in Clarksburg, West Virginia, the daughter of Oran Dennis Rebrook, Jr. and Thelma Arthela Miller Keith. Linda was as close to being a perfect wife and mother as is humanly possible. She was a successful direct sales consultant for Henn Pottery and for Jewels By Park Lane. Linda was a devoted member of Mansfield Baptist Temple where she taught sixth grade girls Sunday School class and then with her husband, Mike, taught four and five year old Sunday school class. She loved and adored her children and grandchildren, and will be greatly missed by them all.
Along with her husband and caretaker, Michael Crum, Linda is survived by her five children, Tamala L. Crum, Wendelin S. (Steven) Mayers, Mark A. Crum, Michelle L. (Dustin) Frank, and Patrick M. (Leah) Crum; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her mother, Thelma Keith; brother, Wayne D. Rebrook of HI; sister, Donna K. Flynn of TN; mother-in-law, Jane Crum; brother-in-law, Dan (Judy) Crum; sister-in-law, Judie Stancato; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, Oran D. Rebrook; step-father, Paul Keith; father-in-law M.D. Crum; and numerous aunts and uncle.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East (St. Rt. 430E), Mansfield. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2013 at Mansfield Baptist Temple, 752 N. Stewart Road, Mansfield with Pastor Robert J. Kurtz officiating. Burial will follow in Caesarea Cemetery.
