WOOSTER: Linda G. Troutman, 66, of Wooster died Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the Wayne County Care Center.
She was born March 28, 1947 in Wooster the daughter of Karl and Dorotha Stuckey Troutman.
Linda was a retired teacher having taught for over 30 years. She had taught at Loudonville Perrysville schools and at Shreve Elementary.
She was a member of the Shreve United Methodist Church, The Wayne Patriots Sweet Adeline's and the City of Flags Adeline's. She loved singing and scrapbooking.
Surviving are her brothers, William (Doris) Troutman of Wooster, Roger Troutman of Lexington, Ohio, Philip (Judi) Troutman of Surprise AZ. and Robert (Rosemary) Troutman of Wooster; her nieces and nephews, Jeffrey Troutman, Alan Troutman, Lori Hinderer, Louann Troutman, Parke Troutman, Bryan Troutman, Mark Troutman, Tori Reyes, Andrew Troutman, Sara Kamlowsky and Amanda Rapp; many great and great-great nieces and nephews; her special friend, Larry White of Wooster; and a special pet, Miss Kitty.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday January 16, 2014 at the Wooster United Methodist Church 243 N. Market St. Wooster, Ohio 44691 with Rev. Robin Dillon officiating. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday evening at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St. Wooster, Ohio 44691.
