Mary L. Hannan

PERRYSVILLE: Mary L. Hannan, 87, of Perrysville, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 in Hospice of North Central Ohio following a short illness. Mary was born on May 30, 1925 in Perrysville and was the daughter of the late John and Esther (Walburn) Wilson. On Sept. 30, 1944 she married Joseph R. Hannan, who preceded her in death on Dec. 25, 1993. She was a lifelong resident of the Perrysville area and worked as a veterinary technician for Byland Animal Hospital for 14 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Loudonville, and the Copus Hill and Penn-Ohio Model A Ford Clubs. She was a Loudonville Fair volunteer for many years and also donated her services to the Mohican Area Chamber of Commerce.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Carol J. (George) Gans of Dublin; 7 grandchldren: Lori (Robert) Sloboda, Lesa (Clinton) Allen, Fred (Kari) Gans, Jody (Kim) Orewiler, Jennifer (Booten) Carr, Joseph (Anastasia) Gans, and Andy Orewiler; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and 1 sister: Margaret Miller of Norton. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, Joyce K. Orewiler; and a sister, Anna Jo Hannan.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 25 at 10:30 am in LINDSEY FUNERAL HOME, LOUDONVILLE with Rev. John Fitch officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Perrysville. Friends may call Thursday, Jan. 24 from 5-7 PM in the funeral home. The family requests memorial contributions be given to First Baptist Church, 124 S.
