JOHNSVILLE: Norma Bostic knew that gardens and families both require a lot of attention. She enjoyed tending to her flowers but preferred to spend her time with her family.
Norma R. Bostic, 86, of rural Bellville, died Thursday afternoon November 22, 2012 in Morrow County Hospital, Mount Gilead, following a brief illness.
She was born April 15, 1926 in Wooster to Wiler and Luella (Kain) First, and was graduated from Wooster High School. She earned her nursing degree from Wooster College of Nursing and worked for years as a nurse with Centerburg Nursing Home.
Norma was a genuinely kind woman who loved collecting dolls, and never saw a flea market or garage sale that was not worthy of her time and attention.

Gilead, Kim and Harold Pfleiderer of Galion, Mike and Tammy Bostic of Guthrie, Kentucky, John Schuck and Lee Schuck of North Carolina, Denise Monk of Chesterville, Brenda Wise of Bellville, Barb and Wendell Hardin of Vanceburg, Kentucky, twenty great grandchildren, and 17 great great grandchildren,
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Lee Elmer Bostic in 2006. Also deceased are a son Dennis Schuck, a stepson Chester Bostic; a brother Willard First and a sister Shirley Swinehart.
