Norma Jean Doggett Pryor

MANSFIELD: Norma Jean Doggett Pryor, 81, of Mansfield, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013 while in the care of Winchester Terrace following a brief illness.

Norma was born May 10, 1931 in Mansfield to F. Charles and Alma Irene (Davidson) Doggett. She was a member of First Church of the Brethren on Grace Street. Norma enjoyed reading, playing cards, and doing puzzles.

Norma is survived by four children, Joyce Banda of Westlake, Peggy (David) Picking of Lexington, Michael (Sheryl) Pryor of Bellville, and David (Patricia) Pryor of Minot, North Dakota; eight grandchildren, Eric and Nicholas Wright, Jake and Jordan Banda, Kelly Picking, Trevor and Toby Pryor, and Duncan Pryor; and step-granddaughter, Chelsea Anast.

Along with her husband, Raymond Pryor, Norma was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Cynthia Wright and a stillborn infant, Gloria Jean Pryor; and three brothers, Robert Doggett, Charles Doggett, and Larry Doggett.

Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2013 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East (St. Rt. 430E), Mansfield. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Delbert Kettering officiating. Burial will be in Windsor Cemetery.
