Rolland M. Mabry

MANSFIELD: Rolland M. Mabry, 81, passed away Friday evening, May 4, 2012 at his home. Born March 18, 1931 in Olive Hill, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Jack and Laura (Porter) Mabry. Rolland retired from General Motors where he worked as a crane operator after 35 years. He was a member of Ontario Free Methodist Church. Rolland was a very giving person and was liked by all who knew him. He enjoyed gardening and working outdoors. In his free time, he enjoyed deer hunting.

Rolland is survived by his wife of 34 years, Ruth Moore Mabry; four sons, Ron (Sharon) Mabry, Dennis (Carol) Mabry, Kevin (Monica) Fetter and Gary Fetter; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother, Charles (Geraldine) Mabry; sister-in-law, Charmie Mabry; numerous nieces and nephews; and special cousin, Adele Allen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends and family may visit from 5-7 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2012 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. A funeral service conducted by Pastor Tony Viscioni will be held in the funeral home Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Clay Cemetery, Olive Hill, Kentucky.
