Ruth Evelyn Fisher

MANSFIELD: Ruth Evelyn Fisher, 84, of Mansfield, passed away Friday, January 25, 2013 at MedCentral Mansfield. Born May 18, 1928 in Fostoria, she was the daughter of Fred and Sophie (Seidel) Boehmler. Evelyn was a 1946 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. A lifetime Mansfield homemaker, she was also a member of the Baku Grotto Women's Auxiliary, the Order of the Eastern Star, and the Baku Grotto Campers. Evelyn really enjoyed traveling and especially camping with her husband, Richard. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She adored her family and always attended each and every activity of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Bonnie Palmer of Perrysville, David (Ruthie) Fisher, and Rick (Carol) Fisher, both of Mansfield; grandchildren, Kristine (Todd) Lindeman, Brad (Jessie) Palmer, Melissa (Mike) Hagerman, Melinda (Jeremy) Sansom, Sam (Tawsha) Fisher, Adam (Jessie) Fisher, and Nathan (Codi) Fisher; and great grandchildren, Katie and Leah Lindeman, Jersie and Cainan Palmer, Tyler and Dylan Hagerman, Halen, Gage, and Bryn Sansom, Kyle Fisher, Austin and Alli Fisher, and Carson and Sophia Fisher. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Earl Fisher.

Friends may call Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Marilou Brook and Pastor Les Vnasdale. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Foundation or a .
