ASHLAND: Thomas Franklin (Tommy) Huff, 69, of Ashland, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Hospice of North Central Ohio, following a five-week battle with acute leukemia. He was an avid fan of his seven grandchildren. He enjoyed his yearly vacations to Lake Erie, walks on the beach with his grandchildren, canning his hot pepper sauce, and gardening. His first concern throughout his illness was for his wife.

He is survived by his wife, Becky Huff; his two children, Heidi (James) Shea of Ashland and Lisa (Timothy) Schirmer of Maineville, Ohio; grandchildren, Tom and Matt Shea of Ashland, Tim Shea of Mountain Home AFB, Idaho, Alex, Alison, Andrew and Adam Schirmer of Maineville, Ohio.
