MANSFIELD: Todd A. Leitenberger, 51, of Mansfield, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 4, 2014. Born January 13, 1963 in Mansfield, he was the son of Kenneth E. and Sondra (Sunnucks) Leitenberger. He worked as a HVAC technician for Standard Plumbing and Heating, learning the trade at an early age from his dad. He loved his co-workers dearly and considered them to be a part of his family. He was a member of Local Plumbers and Steamfitters #42. A hard worker, Todd enjoyed tinkering, especially on Corvette's, and had a great sense of humor. He was known as being honest and a great provider. He was dependable but as everybody knows he was always late.
He is survived by his mother, Sondra Leitenberger of Mansfield; his fiance, Diane; two brothers, Mike Leitenberger of Mansfield and Kenny (Sarah) Leitenberger of Inverness, FL; two sisters, Kitrina Leitenberger of Mansfield and Sally (Jeff) Bechtel of Ontario; two nieces, Haley and Hannah Leitenberger; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth E. Leitenberger and an infant sister, Amy.
Friends may call from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, February 9, 2014 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario. Services will be held following the visitation at 4:00 p.m. conducted by Elder Ron Miller.
