LOUDONVILLE: Brenda Kay Dessenberg, 74, of Loudonville, died Thursday afternoon, February 20, 2014 in Colonial Manor Health Care Center, Loudonville following an extended illness. She was born November 17, 1939 in Mansfield, the daughter of the late Earl and Marilyn (Bishop) Stone. Brenda was a 1957 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School, and was an Accounts Receivable Clerk for Mansfield Plumbing Products, Perrysville, retiring in 2005. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Loudonville, member of the former Order of Eastern Star Chapter, Loudonville, and enjoyed following sports teams.
She is survived by a half-brother, Al Bishop of Tennessee; brother and sister-in-law, L. Wayne and Connie Dessenberg of Loudonville; sister-in-law, Ruth Finken of Douglasville, GA; special people, Peggy Bush and Gerald Bachelder, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Paul E. Dessenberg, on November 7, 2002, following 38 years of marriage.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 AM, Saturday, February 22 in LINDSEY FUNERAL HOME, LOUDONVILLE with Rev. Scott Henderson and Pastor John Bush officiating. Burial will follow in Loudonville Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 AM in the funeral home.
