Anna Hoffman Obituary
Anna A. Hoffman

MANSFIELD: Anna A. Hoffman, 60, of Mansfield, surrounded by her family, was carried to Heaven in God's loving arms Thursday, February 27, 2014 after a short illness. She was born August 2, 1953 in Mansfield to Loretta (Cates) Rust.

Anna recently retired from the Mansfield Post Office. She loved her time spent at Lake Erie fishing and visiting friends. She also took great pride in working with flowers in her yards, both here in Mansfield and at Lake Erie. Anna loved doing things on her bucket list that included: white water rafting, zip lining and most recently, hot air ballooning. She had a soft, loving soul for all she met. Anna will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her.

She leaves behind a daughter, Tammy Taylor; granddaughter, Skyla Taylor; sisters, Ms. Oreo and Love (Floyd) Amstutz-Hays; brothers, Allan Amstutz and Ahab (Cathy) Cates; several nieces and nephews; her two loving dogs, Lila and Bently; and countless friends in Mansfield and Marblehead. She was preceded in death by her mother, Loretta Cates Rust and grandparents, Virgil and Geraldine Cates.

The family will have private services at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to MedCentral Hospice, 335 Glessner Avenue, Mansfield, OH 44903 or the Humane Society of Richland County, 3025 Park Avenue West, Ontario, OH 44906. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family. Online guest registry at
