Harold "Scrap" D. Bricker

MANSFIELD: Harold "Scrap" D. Bricker, 70, of Mansfield died March 30, 2014. Born August 12, 1943 in Mansfield, he was the son of Carl and Alice (Keiser) Bricker-Dotterer. Scrap retired from Sprint after 38 years of service and went on to deliver parts for Milliron, do facility maintenance work, and handle special shipments for his son. He was a jack of all trades who enjoyed golfing, fishing, working in his barn, and gardening. Scrap was a people person who was generous with his time and talents. He was an active member of Sons of Herman, Owls, Moose, Eagles, and The American Legion.

Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Peggy Bricker of Mansfield; sons, Don (Janis) Bricker of Jeromesville and Scott Bricker of Mansfield; step-father, Art Dotterer of Mansfield; brother, Carl Bricker of Mansfield; sister, Deborah (Gary) Bridges of Mansfield; brothers in-law, Jerry (Joyce) Duff of Mansfield and Tom (Pat) Duff of FL; mother in-law, Pearl Duff of Mansfield; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and good friends.

Harold was preceded in death by his mother, Alice (Keiser) Dotterer; father, Carl Bricker; father in-law, Charles Duff; and sister in-law, Sheri Bricker.

Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Don Dolick, will be held Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. Family and friends are invited to visit one hour prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
