Anne M. Lemaster Jones

MANSFIELD: Anne M. Lemaster Jones, 80, of Mansfield, died Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Bayfront Health Center in Port Charlotte, Florida. Born August 13, 1933 in Olive Hill, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Clyde C. and Rosa (Brown) Thompson.

Anne was the eldest daughter in her family and was always looked up to by her brothers and sisters, especially for guidance. A homemaker, she was family oriented, genuine and caring. She was an active member of Dean Road Freewill Baptist Church. Anne enjoyed fishing with her first husband, Eugene and spending time with her family.

She is survived by two sons, Gene Lemaster of Mansfield and Joseph Lemaster of Kentucky; two grandsons, Chad Lemaster and Jacob Thompson; three brothers, Clifford (Fay) Thompson of Arcadia, Florida, Jim Thompson and Marvin Thompson both of Mansfield; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Thompson and Glenna Thompson both of Mansfield; a special niece, Patricia (Michael) Bays of Mansfield; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Eugene Lemaster; her second husband, Allen R. Jones; three sisters, Fay Sparks, Georgia Gee and Aline Setser; and three brothers, Paul, Glenn and Harlan Thompson.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2014 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 3. 2014 at Dean Road Freewill Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Clifford Earl Tackett. Burial will follow in Bunker Hill Cemetery.
