Jerry "JJ" Boyle III
The Guest Book is expired.
MANSFIELD: Jerry "JJ" Boyle III, age 8, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly, May 24, 2014, outside his home while playing with his siblings.
He was born on May 3, 2006, in Mansfield, OH. JJ was attending Sherman Elementary School and was in the 2nd grade.
JJ had a love for being outdoors. He enjoyed riding his bike, and playing with matchbox cars and tractors. He also enjoyed fishing, swimming, and chasing butterflies, especially in his favorite place, Bucksnort, Tennessee, where he spent part of his summers.
JJ was full of energy and never stopped living "life in the fast lane." He had no fears and explored all that life had to offer him. He had a curious little mind, always wondering how things worked. He liked to take things apart and "try" to put them back together again.
JJ loved his family and playing with his siblings. They all looked up to him and he was their hero. He loved to eat and could out eat his entire family. He especially enjoyed dessert and his mom's spaghetti.
JJ was a caring, loving little boy. He had a soft heart and was easy to forgive and forget. His big brown eyes were always hard to say no to.
He will be missed by his parents, Jerry and Kimberly Boyle II of Mansfield; siblings: Gracie, Makayla, and Logan Boyle; grandparents: Jerry (Diana) Boyle of Johnsville, Rachel (Kip) Dyer of Mansfield, Steve (Lori) Welter of Tiffin, and Mike Adams of Sycamore; great grandparents: Donald Boyle of Mount Gilead, Betty (Don) Helman of Mount Gilead, and Shirley LeMmon of Ontario; aunt, Sonja Boyle; uncle, Andrew Boyle; and many other aunts and uncles.
JJ was preceded in death by great grandparents: Elaine Boyle and James (Joan) Markel.
His family will greet friends from 4 to 7 pm on Thursday, May 29, 2014, at the Snyder Funeral Home, Craven Chapel, 67 N. Main St., Mount Gilead. Graveside services with his family will be held privately at a later date in Maple Grove Cemetery with Pastor John Moffett officiating.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made in JJ's memory to Nationwide Children's Hospital Foundation, c/o Behavioral Health ADHD Services, P.O. Box 16810, Columbus, OH 43216-6810.
