Patricia K. Sunderland Hershiser

MANSFIELD: Patricia K. Sunderland Hershiser, 62, of Mansfield, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2014 following a lengthy illness.

Patricia was born on January 8, 1952, in Chattanooga, TN to Verlin M., Sr. and Margaret K. (Delashmitt) Sunderland. Patricia loved her family, especially her grandbabies. She also enjoyed scrapbooking, going to garage sales, and doing word puzzles.

She is survived by two daughters, Jeana (John) Warrick of Ashland and Donna Marie Campbell of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Hannah and Ashley Campbell; four special grandchildren, Debra Brooks, Lisa Viers, Becky and Beth Bowmar; best friend, Penny Smith; four siblings, Linda (Denny) Frietchen, Margie (Chuck) Gruber, and Verlin (Diane) Sunderland, Jr. all of Mansfield, and Carolyn (Carl) Worthington of Greenwich; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews

Along with her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Jr. Hershiser; special niece, Anna Worthington-Bevan; and an infant sister.

Calling hours will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East (St. Rt. 430E), Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at the funeral home with Pastor Wayne Castle and Pastor Ron Conn officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Pall bearers will be Glenn Worthington, Josh Worthington, Ron Campbell, Jason Alsept, Nathan Sunderland, Eddie Worthington, Chad Gruber, and Corwin Tuttle.

In lieu of flowers and to assist with the funeral expenses, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
