LEXINGTON: Carol Ann Boozer, 69, of Lexington, died Friday, July 25, 2014 at OhioHealth MedCentral Mansfield. Born April 12, 1945 in Los Angeles, CA, she was the daughter of Cyril S. and Helen M. (Cottrell) Weishapl. A veteran of the US Air Force, Carol Ann retired from United Healthcare as an auditor. She was also past president of the Home Owners Association at Deer Field Estates. Carol Ann was an outgoing and creative woman who enjoyed quilting and cooking. She had a huge heart and loved spending time with her family, especially games with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Donald Boozer of Lexington; daughters, Sabrina (Kenneth) Sorenson and Stephanie Loflin, both of California; sons, D. Patrick Boozer of Germany and Aaron (Shelby) Boozer of Alabama; grandchildren, Brandon, Joshua, Tatum, Adrianna, Dannika, Ryan, Abigail, Samantha, and Marshall; and many other friends and family that will miss her dearly.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother.
A celebration of Carol Ann's life will be held Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd., Ontario. Friends may call prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Richland County Joint Veterans Burial squad will perform military honors following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
