LUCAS: Charles Hunt, 87, of Lucas, passed away Friday, August 8, 2014. He was born June 29, 1927 in Mansfield to the late Georgia Leiter Hunt and Charles Jacob Hunt, Sr. Charles retired as Data Processing Manager with White Westinghouse. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Betty J. Weber Hunt; five sons, Robert Hunt of Lucas, Ronald (Ruth) Hunt of Gilbert, AZ, Michael (Susan) Hunt, Richard (Victoria) Hunt and Thomas (Kaylene) Hunt, all of Lucas; six grandchildren, Charles Hunt of UT, Aaron (Dawn) Hunt of Galion, Sara (Todd) Oswalt of Lucas, Jacquelynn (Jeremy) Arnold of Butler, Andrew Hunt of Perrysburg, Brian Hunt of Mansfield; several great-grandchildren; and four nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers; one sister; and a granddaughter.
A graveside service conducted by Pastor James Berry will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Mansfield Cemetery. Military honors will be presented by the Richland County Joint Veterans Burial Squad. The Diamond Street Home is privileged to assist the family with arrangements.
