Jeffrey Efird Obituary
Jeff was born August 20, 1966 in Mansfield. He graduated from Mansfield Senor High and served with the Army in the 101st Airborne Division in Desert Storm. He was an honored veteran. He loved his family, Nascar and the Browns.
He will be sadly missed by his family: mother, Nancy Hicks, of WY; sons, Angelo, Jordan and daughters, Alexis and Autumn Dawn; fiance, Kelly Mikoski; sisters, Amy (Lee) Miller, WY and Becky (Brent) Bruce, Willard, OH and Kim Hughes and Tammy Kruso of Mansfield; nephews, Matthew Miller, Nathan and Justin Ressor; niece, Katlin Miller; aunt, Becky (Ray) Bottorf; and cousins, Steve, Tim and Andrew Bottorf and Shellee Wagner and Ron Psimer.
He was preceded in death by dads, Enos Jones and Kenny Newman; and grandmothers, Betty Efird and Edna Leadingham; and nephew Glenn Bruce.

Thankyou Mom, Jeff, sweetie, the day you left you took half of me with you. I do not know how to go on without you, after 4 1/2 years, you left way to soon we were just talking about our wedding day. I went to the Cemetary today and took you Flags and Flowers and a card... I don't know how to do this, I am sorry, I know this is a guest book but this man was the absolute love of my life. Jeff, your son is soooo much like you and you would be so very honored and proud that he folowing in your footsteps.I am sure he will be a very dedicated,strong and fearless Soldier like you were. I miss you so much and I will love you for the rest of my life... I am honered and so greatful when you told me I gave you the happiest years of your life, besides all your children being born... I pray every day and the only peace I can find is knowing you are in paradise and finally feeling no more pain. This is Kelly Mikoski Jeff's Fiancee' , I met Jeff on May 28 th 2006.Amy his sis was my best friend and jeff came out from Ohio, love at first sight!!!!! I was 42 and Jeff was 39. I had pretty much given up on finding TRUE LOVE, MY SOUL MATE... Well, these last 4 1/2 years Jeff told me as well as i told him were the happiest years of our lives. Jeff was the most loving, respectful, caring ,strong men I have ever had the privalge to have known . I miss him terribly and will never forget him I lost my best friend in the whole world but my heart goes out to his Mom god bless her, Nancy is a beautiful, loving women. I didn't know Jeff. I live in Billings but I am originally from Mount Vernon, Ohio. Rest in Peace soldier and thank you for your service to this great country. My two uncles serviced in the 101st during the Korean War. My wife was in Desert Storm with the Montana Army National Guard.
