MANSFIELD: Dorothy Isaly Topping died on February 13 at the age of 95. She grew up in Mansfield, Ohio and married Jack Topping of Ashland, Ohio where they raised their two daughters, Tracy Tappan (Tom) and Libby Countryman (Frank). Libby was easier to raise.
The Guest Book is expired.
Four years ago Dorothy returned to Mansfield to be near Tracy who is now less difficult. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband and outlived her four siblings. She recently said, "I must have been the pick of the litter."
She was well looked after by the Trinity Lutheran Church since the 1940's. This past year Dorothy had exceptional and loving care from Winchester Terrace, Hospice of North Central Ohio, and friends Diane, Zoe, and roommate, Judy. Dorothy's great attitude and sense of humor will be missed.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters, their spouses, three grandsons, Mark, Kevin and Jayson; and six great grandchildren, Isaly, Ruby, Wesley, Eleanor, Ramona, and Corinne.
There will be a private family graveside service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church 508 Center St, Ashland, Ohio 44805 or to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Dr, Ashland, Ohio 44805. Denbow-Primm Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements. Online condolences may be made to the family by visiting: www.dpkfh.com
