Corey Stephen Tolar
GALION: Corey Stephen Tolar, 28, of Galion passed away September 29, 2012 in Mansfield, Ohio.
On May 26, 1984 Stephen and Wendy Tolar welcomed the birth of Corey following the birth of his twin sister. Corey's unexpected arrival onto this earth came as sudden as his untimely passing.
Family and friends will always remember Corey as a true kid at heart and his larger than life personality. Corey was thoughtful and had a great sense of humor. A likable man, he impacted many lives and will leave behind cherished memories and stories for those who loved him for years to come. Corey's "Tolar Swagger" will be greatly missed.
Corey is survived by his parents and stepfather, Kyle McKee, maternal grandmother, Johnetta Bodkins and step grandmother Jean McKee; his siblings, Heather (Brian) Tolar-Smith, Travis (Michele) Tolar, Zachary Tolar, all of Galion, his twin sister, Mindy Roberts of Mansfield, his nephews, Gage, Jesse, Kody, Gavin and Gabriel, and his nieces, Joscelyn and Nadia. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Hamilton and Burnetta Tolar, his maternal grandfather, Leslie Bodkins, his brother-in-law Paul M. Roberts and close friend Michael Kurtz.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
