Ambrose Lahm Obituary
Ambrose "Bruce" Lahm

MANSFIELD: Ambrose "Bruce" Lahm, 82, of Mansfield, died Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Lexington Court Care. Born December 10, 1929 in Cervenka, Yugoslavia he was the son of Karl and Elizabeth (Neider) Lahm. Bruce immigrated to the United States from Germany in 1956 and retired from General Motors after 32 years of service. He attended the Apostolic Christian Church and enjoyed vegetable gardening and watching soccer. Bruce loved to treat himself to a good hamburger when he went out to eat but also enjoyed his wife's cooking which he dearly missed when he had to go to the nursing home. He also loved his winters in Florida which he spent with his wife for 19 years but his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Helen (Bosiokovic) Lahm whom he married April of 1957; a daughter, Diana (Randy) Riggleman of Mansfield; a son, Robert (Laura) Lahm of Safety Harbor, Florida; three grandchildren, Alexis Lahm, Stephen Lahm and Ryan Riggleman; a sister-in-law, Theresia Lahm of Germany; and a niece, Renate Swartz of Germany. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Karl Lahm.

Special thanks to MedCentral Hospice nurses and all of the angels that genuinely cared for Bruce at Lexington Court Care.
