MANSFIELD: Gerald M. "Jack" Paramore, 95, of Mansfield, died Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Oak Grove Manor. Born July 7, 1917 in Greenwich, Ohio he was the son of William and Velma (Strimple) Paramore. An outgoing and friendly gentleman, he was a charter member of Diamond Hills Baptist Church and enjoyed travelling especially his trips to Florida, Vegas, California and Texas.
He is survived by a daughter, Carol (John) Tridico of Mansfield; a son, Dennis (Marilyn) Paramore of Mansfield; nine grandchildren, Wendy (Bob) White, Cyndi Chamberlain, Jill Cole, Jackie (Matt) Rollison, Kim (Ruey) Tackett, Tamara (Andy) Pfeiffer, Dennis (Lisa) France and Nick (Chris) France; and a multitude of great and great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Keefer) Paramore whom he married August 19, 1950; his father, William Paramore; his mother and step father, Velma and Clarence Keefer; a grandson, Michael Marshall; and three brothers, Robert, Richard and Kenneth Paramore.
Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 28, 2013 at Diamond Hills Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Christopher Thomas. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Diamond Hills Baptist Church.
