Johnny David Craft, Sr

MANSFIELD: Johnny David Craft, Sr, 60, of Mansfield, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2013, at home, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Johnny was born on August 27, 1952, in Grayson, KY, to Sherman and Geneva Craft Sr.. He proudly served his country in the U.S Army during the Vietnam War. He owned and worked at Craft Heating & Air Conditioning. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and football but being at the lake fishing was his favorite place to be.

Johnny's sense of humor could make anyone smile! He will be greatly missed by everyone.

Along with his mother, Geneva Hall Craft of Mansfield, he is survived by three daughters, Nicole Craft of Sanford, NC, Leighsa Johnson, and Carsyn Johnson-Craft of Mansfield; two sons, Johnny David Craft Jr., and Johnny Craft of Mansfield; six siblings, Marie Wilburn of Olive Hill, KY, Elwood Craft of Johnsville, Oh, Rita Newlon of Lima, Ohio, David Craft of Ashland, KY and Gary (JoAnn) Craft and Rex (Connie) Craft of Mansfield. Six grandchildren, Robert ("Drew") Hively, Chesnee Hively, Jesse Craft, Tristan Flannery, Blake Jenkins, Omareana Mckinney and Blake Jenkins; one great granddaughter Kenadee Utter, numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Sherman Craft Sr; two brothers; Clyde Craft, Sherman "Bud" Craft, Jr. one sister Barbara Sue Craft.

Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 PAE, Mansfield, is handling the arrangements.
