SHELBY: Jeanne E. (Crum) Beinbrech, age 87, resident of Elmcroft of Ontario Assisted Living Facility and longtime Shelby resident died Saturday, February 2, 2013 in MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital.
Born December 11, 1925 in Shelby to Clifford Rex and Laura Naomi (Seidel) Crum, she has been a Shelby resident the majority of her life. A 1943 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School, she attended Ohio State University in Columbus. A homemaker, Jeanne enjoyed sewing and was a seamstress working for several local clothing stores for many years. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church and MOM League Mothers' Club.
Surviving are two sons, William C. Beinbrech of Lakeworth, Florida and Joel T. (Judy Scott) Beinbrech of Shelby; one brother, David (Bonnie) Crum of Brainard, Minnesota, sisters-in-law, Elise Crum of Plymouth, Minnesota and Pauline Beinbrech Baker of Springfield, Ohio, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas F. Beinbrech on August 25, 2012 and one brother, Paul E. Crum.
A memorial service will be held at a future date at the First Lutheran Church in Shelby with Rev. Russel Yoak officiating. Interment will be held in Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the Beinbrech family suggests memorial expressions be made in Jeanne's memory to the First Lutheran Church, 33 Broadway, Shelby, OH 44875.
