MANSFIELD: Tebara J. Blaising Kisling, 51, of Mansfield passed away early Monday morning, May 6, 2013 at her home following a courageous battle with Lynch cancer. She was born February 3, 1962 in Mansfield to the late John E. and Florence A. (Nance) Blaising. She was employed as an Account Specialist with the Ohio Department of Transportation, receiving many awards throughout her 27 1/2 years of service.
Tebara loved the Lord and was a member of Ontario United Methodist Church. She was a supporter of the "downtrodden" and loved everyone she met. Her creativity was expressed in her writing and through her story telling. Tebara received inspiration from being outdoors, riding her bike and observing the world around her. Tebara was a devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother and leaves a legacy of generosity and courage that will live forever in her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Allen Kisling of Mansfield; one son, Joseph M. Kisling of Chicago, IL; two step children, Kathy (John) Tennis of Ashland and Jeff (Kelly) Kisling of Mansfield; four granddaughters, Taylor and Tori Tennis and Kourtney and Kaitlyn Kisling; one brother and six sisters, Tonda Hollenback of North Baltimore, OH, Tina Moore, Tamara Blaising, Todd (Jane) Blaising and Tyanne (Pete) Brophy, all of Mansfield, Tenette Blaising of Powell and Timberly (Carl) Clarke of Lynnfield, MA; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Tarin Blaising and sister, Tracy Cintolo.
A Celebration of Tebara's life will be held Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in Ontario United Methodist Church with Rev. Sondra Snode officiating. The family will receive guests following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Ontario United Methodist Church, 3540 Park Avenue West, Ontario, OH 44906.
