Donna J. Kelly Passed away on February 5, 2016 in Novato at the age of 84 years. Devoted wife of Ross C. Kelly, Jr., of Novato. Beloved mother of Rick C. Tynes (Rayna) of WA, Clyde W. Tynes, Jr. (Vicki) of Novato, Charlene Hubbard (Russell) of Petaluma, Tom Olivera (Kathy) of Novato, and the late Dwyane "Dewey" Tynes and Craig Lusher. Adored grandmother of Katherine, Jessica, Craig, and Aranda Tynes; Harley and Shelby Hubbard; Tara Hackney; Lena Furlong (Tim); Serena Johnson; Dennis Bonilla (Lori); Michael Olivera (Jessica) and Lisa Olivera. Cherished great-grandmother of Taylor and Kenzie Rose Tynes; Ford Furlong; Sierra and Christian Bonilla; and Morgan and Bradley Umphreys. Loving sister of the late Richard C. Bluhm. Donna was a devoted homemaker, and she loved nothing more than to have her family around her, especially during the holidays. She was very creative and loved to paint and draw. She could make just about anything out of ceramics; she even owned her own shop. Donna was a voracious reader and appreciated fine antiques. She was a wonderful woman; she will be greatly missed. Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Service, Saturday, February 13th, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Private Inurnment.

Kimelman, Joan  
Joan Kimelman Of Corte Madera, CA died at the age of 88 on January 24, 2016 at Windchime of Marin after a long illness. Joan was born in London, England on September 29, 1927 and after surviving the hardships of the war was accepted into Cambridge University at the young age of 16. She graduated in three years with an honor's degree in English and had begun working at the BBC when she met the love of her life, Richard Kimelman, whom she married five years later. Joan and Richard began a great adventure moving to the United States and eventually settling in Corte Madera, California where they raised their family. With three school age kids, Joan decided to return to school to pursue a Masters degree at San Francisco State University and then a PhD at the California School of Professional Psychology. Twenty years older than most of her classmates she made friends and excelled in her studies leading a dual life as student and mother in the 1970's. After receiving her doctorate she went on to have a long and successful career as a clinical psychologist touching the lives of many people throughout her career until she retired at the age of 79. She took great pride in her work, her family and felt incredibly lucky to have such a supportive and loving husband. Joan is survived by her husband of 65 years, Richard, her children David (Karen Butner) Seattle, Washington, Paul (Haleh Shahmohammdi) Alamo, CA and Judy (Bob McRuer), Mercer Island, WA and her four grandchildren Celina and Koosha Kimelman and Kaya and Jason McRuer, her sister Rosemary Polack (Cambridge, England).
