Frank J. Mead

Frank J. Mead Born January 4, 1950 in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed peacefully on December 14, 2012 at his home in Fairfax. Frank is remembered as a chef, lover of barbecue, a fan of the San Francisco Giants, 49ers, he enjoyed golf, and for having a heart for the homeless. Frank was a good man and will be missed and remembered. He is home and in God's "wheelbarrow". Frank deeply appreciated all the care of many friends, family and professionals. Frank loved his children, daughters, Katrina, Della and LaCole; his late son, Frankie; grandchildren, Shenique, Alia, Tamia, Dee-Dee, Madison and Kennedy. Frank loved Colleen, Jessy, Andy, Colin and the countless close friends through the 27 continuous years of one day at a time sobriety in the fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous. Frank loved many, the family of God, Lucas Valley Community Church and Cursillo. A Celebration will be held at Lucas Valley Community Church on December 23, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. A gift of remembrance may be directed to Hospice by the Bay or the San Rafael Ritter House.
