Noel Greenfield Born December 25, 1937, a native daughter of Marin County, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2012. She attended Saint Raphael's School and Marin Catholic High School. She was a member of Marin Country Club. She was preceded in death by her father Peter Divita, her mother Myrtle Taylor-Divita, and her sister Marlene Palatella. She is survived by her three children and their spouses; Lauren Chiara (Daniel), Lisa Greenfield (Flavio Oliveira), Peter Greenfield (Sara); and her four Grandchildren, Onyx Oliveira, Kaya Greenfield, Marley Oliveira, and Willow Greenfield; and seven Granddogs. Noel died of complications from ovarian cancer. She fought this battle for over three years but it never slowed her down. She embraced every minute of life and was an amazing woman to know. As a Daughter she honored her mother. As a Mother she raised her kids with strong principles and a passionate heart. As a Friend, if she liked you, you loved her. She could make you laugh until you cried and she was generous with all that she had. She loved to fish, golf, garden, feed the birds, travel, shop, cook and laugh. She will be terribly missed. The streams, the greens, the flowers and her friends' and family's lives will be just a little duller without her. A Special Thanks to all those who were there for her these past few years; doctors, friends and family. Services will be held at Chapel of the Hills, 330 Redhill Ave, San Anselmo, CA, 415-453-8440, 4:00PM Sunday, December 16, 2012. Dinner reception to follow. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Hospice By The Bay, 17 East Sir Francis Drake Blvd., Larkspur CA 94939. Condolences may be sent to 355 Fairway Dr., Novato, CA 94949.
