Rita Marie Schroeder

Rita Marie Schroeder Our beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin and friend passed away peacefully on October 31, 2012, at the age of 79. She is survived by her sons Fred (Murphy) and Kenneth Schroeder, her daughter-in-law Cheryl Schroeder (Fred), grandchildren Daniel and Kristofer Schroeder (Ken), Fred "Tony" Schroeder, Christina Tindall, and Jennifer Schroeder (Fred), and their respective families, and her great-grandchildren Trinity (Daniel), Elijah (Christina) and Lily (Tony). Rita is also survived by seven siblings Gloria, Elaine, Marguerite, Mary, Janet, Joy, William and Barbara, and their families and the large family that remains, most of whom reside in Wisconsin. "Rita Mae" was born to William and Viola Pedriana on August 28, 1933, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and moved to San Rafael, California in 1969. She worked for Kaiser Permanente in San Rafael for 35 years, in addition to numerous other jobs throughout her life. Rita will be remembered for her independence, her love of hiking, nature, volunteering, ushering, traveling and love of music; but most of all for her unquenchable love and care for her family. All family and friends are invited to attend her funeral services on Monday, November 19, 2012, at 1:00 PM, at St. Raphael's Church and Mission San Rafael, 1104 Fifth Ave., San Rafael, CA, 94901, followed by interment at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, 270 Los Ranchitos Rd., San Rafael, CA, 94903. A Tribute Fund has been set up for donations to the of Northern California, as the Rita Schroeder Tribute Fund.
