Robin Herbert Taylor

Robin Herbert Taylor On January 29, 2013, Robin Taylor rejoined his dear friends Seraphina and Scaramouche in blissful peace. Known to many as "SirRobinT," and to others as "Bertie," he was born in London in 1927. After traveling the known world, in 1953 he single-handedly recolonized America, eventually settling in the County of Marin and becoming his newly chosen land's first citizen and chief library and film patron. A master of verisimilitude, Robin held court at the Shadows and the Gate House in SF. During his life, he constantly entertained new subjects, exploring myriad garage sales, theatre and films, eBay, show tunes, Faberg‚ eggs, water aerobics, Noel Coward, third world countries, and books of both the print and audio variety. He is survived by his brother Edward, wife Loretta, daughter Alysanne, and sons Adrian and Christopher. He is currently keeping calm and carrying on, but on March 23rd at 1 PM, a memorial gathering will be held in his honor at Hillside Church of Marin, 5461 Paradise Dr, Corte Madera.
