Sandra (Corsen) Daniels Entered the gates of Heaven on October 28, 2013. Breast Cancer
first entered into her life in 2008 and although she kept the faith that she would win the battle, it reoccurred in 2012. Sandra was born in San Francisco and moved to Marin as a child where she attended many schools in the Mill Valley region. She graduated from Tamalpais High School in 1962 as one of the most popular girls in her class. Sandra and Bill Daniels married in 1965 and in 1966 were blessed with a daughter Kelly. Their son, Mark, joined the family in 1969 and the family moved to Petaluma. Both Kelly and Mark went through the Petaluma school system, where Sandy was very involved in each school our children attended and assisted in the teaching program. The family relocated to Marin County in 1987 where they entertained and enjoyed their home in Novato with family and friends. Sandy's love of life and family kept everyone's spirits alive and her quick wit and personality made everyone she came in contact with, feel like a special friend. She enjoyed many friendships in both counties and was a devoted Bocce Player with the Marin Bocce Federation but also fit in time to play Mahjong with a group of special friends. She leaves behind five Grandchildren; Joshua, Zack, Chanel, Kristin, and Caden. Her grandkids were her "pride and joy" and she treasured each and every visit with them. Before she was diagnosed, she experienced Breast Cancer when her sister-in-law passed away from this disease. Bravely, Sandy and her daughter decided to walk in a 60 mile breast cancer walk in Judy's memory in 2002. Sandy has done many amazing things in her life. But most importantly she wanted to make everyone feel good; she was a peace maker and people worshiper and she made this world a better place. She suffered throughout her life, but she never complained or bothered another person with her troubles. Her LOVE OF LIFE and the desire to please people with a smile and a loving comment will live with her Loving Family forever. We are so blessed to have shared our life with her and will deeply miss her smile and special personality. She was one of the most courageous woman we have ever known. A celebration of her life will be held on December 7, 2013 at one of her favorite places, Negri's Restaurant in Occidental, California from 12:00 to 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations go to The Marin Cancer Institute at Marin General Hospital or the Zero Breast Cancer organization.
