Marjorie Driscoll Connolly Marjorie Connolly a long time Mill Valley resident and community member passed away of natural causes in Marin General Hospital on Tuesday, October 22, 2013. Her family and friends were with her as she peacefully left our presence. Those who know Marjorie consider her truly a unique original - eloquent, complex, shy, and private woman who possessed strength, conviction, independence, and character. The charm, grace, humor, compassion, and love she brought upon others are forever remembered and lives' on. Born and raised in Brookline, MA on August 8, 1926, Marjorie attended college, married Bart Connolly, III, raised their family, and traveled the world throughout Bart's distinguished military service to our country. A devout and ardent supporter of the Saint Hilary Catholic Church in Tiburon, California and local community she lived a life of ministry advocating spirituality, social change, education, and advancement for all. Her joy of life was the grace of God, love she received and shared with others, and her natural and extended community family. She is survived by her daughter (Diane Ware) and son (Bart IV) of Talent, OR and Vista, CA, respectively, and her grand and great grandchildren. Her sister's family (Rick, Jeff, and Charlie Hall) were forever in her life and love. A memorial service at Saint Hilary Catholic Church in Tiburon, California and interment with her husband in Annapolis, MD is pending. The family request in lieu of flowers that donations be contributed to Saint Hilary Catholic Church in Tiburon, California or the Belvedere-Tiburon Library.
