ALICE OCHS Obituary

Alice Elizabeth Ochs Passed away 11/27/2010. Memorial services at New Life Christian Center, Novato on 12/18 at 11 a.m. In addition to working at the USPS for nearly 25 years, Alice was an actress, director, writer, jeweler, photographer, craftswoman. Widow of political folk singer Phil Ochs, she spent the last three decades as a devoted Christian, leading the jail ministry at her church, and creating plays to spread the message of Christ. She attended Bible College and became a minister. She will be dearly missed, most especially her sister Maria, daughter Meegan, son-in-law Jay, Alice's grandchildren Cierra and Caiden.

Alice was a precious woman of God. Her passion to reach those that had made wrong choices in their lives and were imprisioned and taking the Gospel to them and seeing some of them set free was a wonderful miracle to see. I'm glad that Alice in heaven with her Savior!

I met Alice many years ago when we both worked at Paradise Pharmacy in Corte Madera.She left such a warmth in my heart that I will never forget. She Loved the Lord so very much! You could see His light shine in her smile. Thank you Alice for the brief moment I was blessed to know you. Peace always.
