ALICE PETRETTI BAXTER

Alice Petretti Baxter Age 85, died December 4, 2010 in San Ramon. Alice was born on March 28, 1925 in San Francisco. She had lived and raised her family in Sonoma since 1964. She attended Corpus Christi School in San Francisco, St Anselm's High School in San Anselmo and Dental School in San Francisco. Alice worked at the Fairmont Hotel at the Papagayo Room in San Francisco as head hostess for five years. She also worked for Tahoe Airlines as a Reservation Manager, Flight Attendant, and worked for several dentists as a Dental Assistant and Office Manager. Alice had been married to the late Jim Baxter for forty five years. Alice was the adored mother of Gary, Gregory and Darci, and the loving grandmother of Ryon, Karina, Jimmy, Sierra, Gabriella, Tessa, and Gianna and Daniella Boragno and the late Colton Baxter, and mother-in-law to Lina and Norma Baxter, and Mark Boragno, dear sister of Larry and Rico Petretti and survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at 11a.m. on Friday, Dec. 10, 2010 at St. Francis Catholic Church, West Napa St. and Third St .West, Sonoma. A vigil will be held at 6 p.m. at Duggan's Mission Chapel, 525 West Napa St., Sonoma. A Private Interment at Mountain Cemetery, Sonoma will be held.
