It's a New Year!!! 2 years now since you've been away ... a long time to be without you by my side. I miss you so.
I haven't written much in my journal lately ... think no one will read it. But the holidays were easier ... I made sure I was busy and with friends all the time. New Years, the time you left us, was a solo time for me and probably always will be. Just a time to reflect and remember all of the good times and the happy days. We visited you at the cemetary ... I know you are not there, but i find solace in going to such a peaceful place to reflect ... we (Skyy and me) went on your birthday and on Christmas day too. We talk, we play your music, and most importantly ... we remember!!!
Love you forever ... thank you for sharing my life ... your life!!!

Remembering you, a few days after my birthday, just as I always do. Thinking of having your annual summer party just as you used to do. Hope I'm up to it.
Always in my heart, always on my mind.
Love you

My Dearest Chuck:
as I write this I start to cry. in just a few days it will be a year since you went home. I try not to think about those last few weeks of your life but just the happy times before that. I do pretty good, but like now my heart is aching.
I came to your guest book to plan a 'remembering Chuck' memorial in the Marin IJ on the first anniversary of you leaving us. I saw some lovely notes from friends and felt I wanted to write you. I have been putting off updating my journal but will have to over the next few days - that's where I talk to you a lot.
I will always have you in my heart, speak to you daily in your pictures and the sky. I know you're listening otherwise I wouldn't be able to continue. Thank you.
Skyy sends her love, she misses her dad.
Together now, and now will always be.

Leslie: so very nice to get your note. Chuck is remembered in many ways and the garden piece is a reminder of his love and presence for as long as I live here. I'll call you today, but just realized I do not have a contact note on his obit memory page.
Love you both.

Today Scrappy and I walked through the path past your house, and an addition to the garden caught my eye. I was curious why I hadn't heard or seen Chuck with the dogs. Now I know why.
Ken- I want to give you a big warm hug next time I see you. I am heartsick for your loss. Infinite Love, Leslie and Bob

Dear Chuck:
Love of my life. I miss you so very much, but knowing you are safe and at peace helps me accept the void. In just a few days, Feb. 16th, it would have been 45 years. I have a world full of memories to help with the pain.
You will always be in my heart, thoughts, and prayers . . . and soon we will be together again. It's comforting to know that Benji and Dexter are with you. Look for them in the tall green grass running towards you.
All my love,
Ken and Skyy

I will never forget my Uncle Chucks love and support while I lived in California. He was there for me through the "good" and the "bad", don't know what I would have done without him. I Love you "Uncle Chuck" and will miss you always.

Chuck was my brother, and words cannot describe how much I will miss him. He had a special laugh that could light up a room, and a deep love for his family and friends. He lived and enjoyed life to its fullest. He did not miss a moment of what living had to offer. I loved my brother, goodby Chuck.
