Dermot "Steve" Corr Obituary
Dermot "Steve" Corr Dermot "Steve" Corr of Corte Madera passed away peacefully with his loving wife Anna at his side, on Thur., May 2, 2013. Born in Monaghan, Ireland, Steve was the youngest of six siblings. At age 20 Steve set out to find adventure and landed in San Francisco where he was introduced to a beautiful nurse from Ireland named Anna. Their marriage in 1962 was the beginning of a committed and loving communion. In 1969, they moved to Corte Madera where they spent the next 44 years in the same house on the hill with their five children. Steve is survived by his wife Anna, his children Stephen Corr of Larkspur, John (Alex) Corr of Fairfax, Dan (Elisa) Corr of Marinwood, Dermot (Maureen) Corr of San Anselmo, and Noreen Corr of Novato, his brother Joe, and sister Mai, both of Monaghan, Ireland. He will be missed by his nine grandchildren and he is now united with his first grandchild, Justin Corr. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Patricks Church in Larkspur on Friday, May 10th at 10:00 AM followed by a celebration of his life at the Best Western Corte Madera Inn.
