EMILY PANICACCI Obituary

Emily Grace Panicacci Emily Grace Panicacci was born on March 10 1995, and died on Saturday, October 2, 2010. She was fifteen years old. Gracie's smile and childlike, fun-loving personality touched everyone. She loved all animals, especially her little dogs Bubba and Riley. She liked to draw. She enjoyed traveling with her family and playing in the ocean in San Diego. She recently went to Tucson, Arizona, to see her brother Paul off to college. Some of her favorite foods were sushi, chips, and grape soda. She will be missed by her Mother and Father, Jennifer and Scott, her Brothers Paul and Andrew, her Grandpa Jerry, her aunts, uncle, cousins, friends, teachers and community that she touched. This is only a temporary goodbye, Gracie, because we will sing, laugh, talk, eat, swim, wrestle with the dogs, and be silly with you in heaven. But for right now, we will miss your dancing eyes, your beauty, your quick sense of humor, and your sweet cheerful self. A memorial for Gracie will be held at Valley Baptist Church, 2 North San Pedro Road, San Rafael, on Saturday, October 16th at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Animal Rescue Foundation.

Scott,

What wind brought this news to me, I will never understand, but these wishes come from across a sea thirty-three years wide to tell you people you least expect are thinking of you and your family today. No family should ever have to endure what yours must, and I would like to send my most heartfelt wish for healing to your family. Because I, too, lost a daughter young in life, I know your daughter will always be with you, every day. You may not yet realize this, Scott, but you will someday find profound solace in that. Please find your way out and be well. I promise it can be done.

I hope there are many who reach out and offer you the support you need.

With deepest sympathy

A TL escapee

Panicacci famliy,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We admire your courage and strength and can't imagine the anguish you are going through. We wish you peace surrounded by the love of those who've been touched by you and your famliy. Your faith inspires us - we are reminded of the quote "Faith is a bird that feels dawn breaking and sings while it is still dark." by Rabindranath Tagore, Bengali polymath. Em and Nick connected last year after learning they both had connections to San Rafael and Sonoma and shared experience of being the new kid in school. She was so sweet and will be deeply missed. Blessings to you all - Dan, Sharon, Kaia and Nick Grgich

When I heard the news of Grace's death, I fell to the ground and cried and cried and cried for hours, unable to stop and not caring who saw. Gracie was a beautiful friend and special person, and she will never be forgotten by those she touched. I am so fortunate for the time i got to spend with her- if only I knew that the words I would speak to her would be the last I would ever get to say. I hope Grace is happier in heaven than she was on earth, looking down on all of us & seeing our love for her. RIP EGP, you will always be in our hearts.

Scott, Jennifer, Paul, Andrew, and family,
“There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love.”
Our thoughts and love continue to be with you as we hold your family close in our hearts and prayers.
Grace was a Beautiful child, a Beautiful girl, a Beautiful soul. I'm certain that if you had a flower for every time you thought of her, you could walk forever in your garden. Our family will continue to carry memories of a delightful Grace from preschool days on.

I was so fortunate of getting to know emily grace when she came to my school of last year for a semester. Since i knew her mom because she was my english teacher and i would always hangout in her room because there was way too much drama going on of last year and i would hangout with emily and ms. panicacci during break and lunch every single day. We have the same names, so i used to get confused if her mom was talking to me or her. Emily had such a great sense of humor which i enjoyed a lot:D I will never lose the memories we shared and i know i didnt have a huge long past with her but she has truly made a huge impact in my small community. i will never forget her. EVER!!
