When I moved to Fairfax. Eva was very welcoming. She shared her love of cooking, gardening and quilting with me. She was the one that convinced me that quilting was fun. She encouraged me to learn how to quilt. I worked with Eva for many years taking care of Ryan. I learned so much about the joys of life, even during the harder times, there was joy to be found. She was truely an angel on earth and will be greatly missed. I will always remember her laughter. Much love and condolences go out to her family and friends. Heaven is so lucky to get her.

I met Eva through working with Ryan and, eventually, Evelyn. Eva was such a caring and hard working person who made sure everything was always "just right" for Ryan. She was also an excellent advocate for her children and others. We have lost a truly exceptional person. Rest in sweet peace, Eva. Love, hugs and my sincere condolences to Ryan and Evelyn and to the rest of her family and friends.

I assume this is Eva who so lovingly cared for children in her home, kids who did not get much love elsewhere... what an angel she was, and how lovely to arrive in my school bus at her home (a quarter century ago) and have her smiling self come out with a wheelchair. I am so sorry to read of her passing...
