Obituary Condolences

Frances Marie Ackenheil Born in San Francisco, California November 29, 1942 passed away peacefully on January 30, 2013 at UCSF medical center following a brief illness. She was surrounded by her loving family. Frances is survived by her loving husband Pete, adoring daughters Kate Preston (Tim), Suzanne Ross (Paul) and Erin Lazzaretto (John), her sister Norma Sue Robel (Rick) and grandchildren Taylor Grant, Hannah Ross, Zachary Ross and Benjamin Lazzaretto. Her family extended to include many dear friends, as well as many, many cousins, in California, Ireland and Italy. Frances loved to travel, and recently visited New York City with her daughter Erin. She especially loved taking trips to Lake Tahoe with her husband Pete with whom she would have celebrated 50 years of marriage on June 1st. But more than anything else, Frances loved family and absolutely delighted in her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. Viewing will be available starting at 5:30 PM on Tuesday February 5th followed by a Catholic Rosary at 7:00 PM at Keaton's Redwood Chapel of Marin, 1801 Novato Blvd, Novato, CA 94947 www.keatons redwoodchapel.com. A Holy Mass will be offered for Frances on Wednesday, February 6th at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 1000 Cambridge Street, Novato, California. Burial will be at Valley Memorial Park, 650 Bugeia Lane, Novato, California. There will be a reception at the home of Suzanne Ross, after the service.
