GEORGE O'CONNOR Obituary

George Patrick O'Connor "Papa" Of Lincoln, CA, passed from this life on September 17, 2010, from complications of pneumonia, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Chicago, Il April 11, 1936, George worked his career in the insurance industry, raising his family in Novato, CA. He eventually retired as Vice President from Marsh & McLennan of San Francisco. A loving and generous husband, father, grandfather and friend, we are blessed to have known him and will carry him with us always in our hearts. He is survived by his wife Alice, son Shawn (Julie), daughter Dawn (Gary), grand-daughters Taylor and Lauren, sister Kathleen (Al) and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his best friend dog Lucy. A celebration of George's life will take place on Saturday, October 23rd at 1:00 PM at Inn Marin in Novato. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the SPCA.
