Christy and Family,
I know your pain first hand. I too lost my son. There are no words to express the pain of losing a child. My heart goes out to you. I wrote this poem in memory of my son. I hope it gives you an iota of comfort.
Remembering
Stars shine brightly in the sky
Not for us to wonder why
Each represents someone’s love
Life we’ve cherished and dreamed of
Our loved ones we will always miss
Forever cherishing that last kiss
We’ll hear their laughter, hear their voice
We will live on, we have no choice
We are not meant to understand
Don’t give grief the upper hand
Live each day to the very end
I want you to live life my friend
Someday when we meet again
Where we left off we shall begin
Friends and family meet anew

Dear family of Isaac,
I did not know Isaac, and do not know you...I'm just a "neighbor" in Novato wanting to tell you that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
I pray for both courage and peace as you mourn the loss of your son, brother, nephew, and grandson.

Although I didnt really Know you that well. others have been touched by you in many ways. Many are saddended by what has happend. it is always hard to loose someone you love but you are watching over all of us. you are gone but you are never gotten. you will be always be in our hearts.

Such a sad day when friends and family must loose a young, talented, happy boy. I didn't know you, Isaac, but my daughter and her friends did. It was a pleasure to know Isaac. I remember him as a sweet little boy at Olive school,at San Jose and then at NHS.My daughter Marina and I have many fond memories of Isaac that we will cherish forever. The entire Novato community feels a deep loss. Isaac was a good friend to my son Ian and many others who loved him like a brother. As a Little League coach, I enjoyed watching Isaac play baseball over the years. Isaac was a gamer, a well respected teammate, a talented player with a positive attitude and a genuine love for the game.

I always loved talking to my Dad and he would talk for hours about Isaac and all his accomplishments both on the athletic field and off. Thank you Isaac for making the last 15 years so special for my Dad.
Isaac touched the hearts of many and we will remember the precious memories of the days while he was here on earth. As he was the brightest star on earth, he will most definitely be the brightest in heaven! You will be missed!
