Jacqueline (Jackie) Duggan Kerler Of Mount Shasta, California, passed away in her home on April 9, 2013, surrounded by friends and family. She was 75 years old. Born in Butte, Montana in 1938 to James and Frances Duggan. Jackie practiced nursing for over 35 years. Driven by a desire to help others, she spent her later years volunteering for hospice, being a dedicated friend and mother, and making herself available to anyone in need. An active member of Alcoholics Anonymous, Jackie received a chip commemorating her 25 years of sobriety on April 5, 2013, four days before her death. She was quick to smile and her laugh was infectious. She loved being in the outdoors and hiking with her dogs. Jackie is survived by her loving daughters, Jenna Kerler and Julie Krueger; her brother Ken Pool and his wife Barbara; her niece Gale Anne O'Connor; and her former husband Jack Kerler and his wife Sherry. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 3:00 - 7:00 at Unity of Marin, located in Hamilton Center, 600 Palm Drive, Novato CA.
