Aunt Jackie was a beam of light and I can still hear her infectious laugh when I remember her. She loved and cared for so many and I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to share some time with her in this life. Jeep wranglers, China Camp camping trips, Ice Cream and the best hugs in the world. I will miss you dearly Aunt Jack. I know you will be with us always. I love you!

My Dad called me Monday to tell me about Jackie. i don't live in the area anymore so i don't get the marin news. I can't tell you how sad I feel, but it brought bad so many happy memories of Jackie and our 2 families growing up in Novato. Just to know Jackie has brighten my life. There never was a kinder, sweeter person in this world. I am so sorry we lost touch later in life. I'll always remember the year that her Mom made us both matching leopard print nightgowns. My mom took a picture of us in them at my house one night Jackie spent the night in our little house on Shady Lane. And I'll never forget the most wonderful wedding shower Jackie and her Mom gave me over 25 years ago. Thank you Jackie for being such a good friend, I know you are up there in Heaven! Jackie - A girl with a smile and a heart as true as the sun. A person that always made you feel like she was your friend forever even when we first met. Knowing you has made my life better. I will never be able to forget your smile, warm hug and your gunine laugh.

Knowing Jackie enriched my life and the lives of my family. It's hard to believe it was almost exactly 6 years ago Jackie hosted the baby shower for our Joy. Such a Jackie type thing to do! Jackie came to visit several times when Joy was a baby- she was so good with babies. I will miss her so. She was a true friend.

One of the joys of my life has been to be able to call Jackie one of my best friends. She will never, ever be forgotten.No matter how much adversity was thrown her way, she kept positive, with a laugh and smile for everyone. Dearest Jackie. I writing this note to you in heaven. We may not have seen each other much and that's why I write this note to you because I never forgot you but the times we did I had a lot of fun. I remember those times at Thanksgiving when you laughed at my silly jokes and the time I sang to you on the couch in Patty's and my house. I thought you would never stop laughing. My dog Cody and I visit the Fifth Avenue Convelescent Home through the Humane Society's Share Program. Jackie's room was always a must stop. Over the years our chats became talks and we shared our lives. She unfolded her life to us; memories of growing up, her mom's love of children, her good friends in Montana, her sisters and the antics of her nephew, and joy whenever these special people visited. Cody got his fill of pets and muzzle squshes and I treasured our growing friendship. Oh the laughs we shared! What a treasure. I'm sure she is sharing her joyous nature from above.

I was Jackie's hairdresser for a few years during the 80's and 90's. I just loved seeing her name on my book. No matter what she was always positive and funny. She was a gift to all who knew her. Rest in peace dear one.
