JoAnne Willis Obituary
JoAnne Willis Passed away at her home in Fairfax on April 8, 2013; she was 77 years of age. Born in San Francisco, JoAnne had been a resident of Fairfax for the past 62 years. Following her graduation from Marin Catholic High School in 1953, JoAnne met the love of her life while out cruising with her girl friends. Bill was serving in the Air Force and stationed at Hamilton. They were married at St. Rita Catholic Church in Fairfax, July 1955. JoAnne is remembered as a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She volunteered countless hours in church and at school. She was active in everything her family was interested in. It seems she knew everyone in town. Missing her greatly is her loving husband, Bill; children, Michael of Santa Rosa, Steven (Denise) of Fairfax, and Linda of Fairfax; her seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Branden, Andrew, Danielle, Rachel, Geoffrey and Travis; great granddaughter, Vanessa; and many more loving family members and friends. The Rosary/Vigil Service is 7:00 p.m., Sunday, April 21, 2013 at St. Rita Catholic Church, Fairfax. The Mass of Christian Burial is 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 22, 2013 also at the Church. The Committal Service is 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 26, 2013 at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery, San Rafael.
