Obituary Condolences

Lawrence Daniels Larry was proud to make it to 92 ½. This last year he kept joking "how do you get to be 92? By getting to be 91." He served in the Air Force in WW2 and graduated from Stanford on the GI bill. He was a Structural and Civil Engineer. He worked for Kaiser Steel and as an independent engineering consultant for many years. He never stopped being an engineer. A long time member of SIRS, he created Investors Lunch Bunch in 1995, which is still going strong with many branches of SIRS gathering to discuss investments each month. He also started the SIRS Bridge Club. He was a fabulous bridge player-always lucky in the cards and a very sharp player. 'Lucky Larry'. He and wife Evelyn were fixtures at Rolling Hills, swimming every morning at 7:30 AM, rain or shine. He was born in Driggs Idaho but was a long time resident of California. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Evelyn Daniels and his children Wes Daniels and Vina Daniels.
