Thank You for seeing more in me than I ever saw in myself, guiding me back to my faith and being the friend and mentor when I so desperately needed one. I hope I can reflect the love and wisdom you gave me to others and be present to all of those who have yet to realize that "All Is Gift" Helen you were beautifully flawed and your grace and love live on in my heart. I will still count on your prayers as I have for 25 years. Veronica, Madeline and Baby Joe will miss their Grandma Helen but you live on in our nighttime prayers.

I was privileged to have had Sr. Aloyisus as a teacher at St. John's in Napa. When she was transferred to another Dominican apostolate, we corresponded. After college, we reconnected at Santa Sabina.
I sent her a note on the occasion of her jubilee and treasure the thank you note she sent to me, seeing it everyday on my desk at work.
For me as a child, Sr. Aloysius--I continued to call her that in loving fun--embodied the Dominican Spirit, the loving arms of God Himself.

Ivan and I will remember her with love. Sr. Helen's unique way of speaking right into your heart will remain with us always.
She was the best teacher I ever met.

Sr. Helen will be greatly missed. She had a generous heart and kind spirit. I was fortunate enough to begin my long teaching career under her guidance. She was my first principal at Holy Rosary Elementary School in Antioch. She was wise and always helpful. I have so many warm and wonderful memories of her. She was a joy to live with in community. Her good work on earth is done. May God richly bless her. Judith Depew
