NORMA HUNT Obituary

Norma M Hunt 08/16/1920 ~ 09/24/2010 Left us on September 25th, 2010. Mrs. Hunt, widow of Jack E. Hunt, was born in Washington, D.C., and was a resident of Mill Valley for 48 years. She graduated from George Washington University with a degree in English and performed graduate studies in law at the University of Dayton, Dayton Ohio. She leaves four children: Melissa Rinck (Michael), Thomas Hunt (Leticia McMahan), Peter Hunt (Jim Radke), Cordelia Savedra (Albert) as well as eight grandchildren: Peter, Jessica and Ryan Hunt, Michelle, Danielle and Maurisa Rinck, Francesca and Andrew Savedra. Her age is irrelevant, as she remained young at heart until the end. While she outlived most of her contemporaries she endeared herself to those of all ages. Her legacy is woven of laughter, witticism, and keeping everyone up on interesting news by maintaining an active social network with her yoga class, discussion group, art class as well as going on many adventures with her family. A celebration of her life will be held at 4 P.M. on October 8 at Fernwood Cemetery in Mill Valley. She requested celebration of life as a sendoff and wants all those who loved her to come. Donations in her memory may be made to the Marin Humane Society, Whistle-Stop in San Rafael or Shriners Hospital in San Francisco.

Hi all. I concur with Steve above, as it has been a while since we have been in contact. I have fond memories of Norma, especially from chilhood. I feel lucky to have had her as part of my life, and I am glad that she kept the "Norma" attitude for so long. I will see you in Mill Valley on Friday. "Sunrise (ave), Sunset"... May we all have as wonderful a life as Norma. I love you all...Brian
