Oliver Roy "Bud" Anderson
A native San Franciscan, passed away peacefully on October 23rd, 2005 at the age of 75. He graduated from Lincoln High School in San Francisco, class of '48 and UC Berkeley, School of Pharmacy. In the U.S. Army, Oliver served in Korea as 1st Lieutenant and Commanding Officer of the Medical Supply Platoon, 6th Medical Depot, from 1955 to 1956.
He was a Life Scout, in the Lincoln High Band, a hunter, fisherman, and Little League baseball coach. He owned a pharmacy; and was at Letterman General Hospital for 25 years.
Oliver was predeceased by his father, Oliver, and mother, Olava. He is survived by his loving wife Marilyn and three sons, Oliver, John and Thomas. He loved his grandkids: Tiana, Cody and Isabella.
Friends and family are invited on Friday, October 28th to attend a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. and Visitation from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Keaton's Mortuary in San Rafael, at 1022 "E" Street. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 29th, at 2:00 p.m., St. Raphael's Mission, 1104 Fifth Avenue, San Rafael, CA 94901.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to St. Raphael's Scholarship Fund, 1104 Fifth Avenue, San Rafael, CA 94901.
