RICHARD DOTSON Obituary

Richard Douglas Dotson Entered the presence of God peacefully at home on Oct. 11, 2010 after a long term illness. A lifelong resident of Marin county, he was an auto mechanic and partner of Locke Bros Auto in San Rafael for over 30 years. He retired in 2007 from the Novato School District after 15 years of service. He loved racing "Hot" cars and boats, traveling, fishing and adored his blonde lab Ginger. He is survived by his children; Doug (Teresa), Dale (Hillary), Yvette (Bill), Art (Diane), Bruce and Scott (Shelly), 15 Grandchildren, three Great-grandchildren, brothers Duane (Linda) and Ronald (Gerry) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Loving Wife Joan Dotson, his parents Melvin and Minnie and brother Ken. For more of his life story go to www. Keatonsredwoodchael.com. Services will be held October 23, 2010, 1 PM at Keatons Chapel, 1801 Novato Blvd, Novato. Donations may be made to Humane Society of Marin.
