Obituary Condolences

Steven Wayne Mitchell Steve died suddenly at his home in Clearlake, CA on May 24th, 2013. He was a beloved son, uncle, brother, cousin and friend. Steve was the first born to Forrest and Marlys Mitchell on August 21st, 1949. He went to San Rafael High School. Steve served in the Marines during the Vietnam War. He was a great mechanic and was a fan of "57" Chevys, oldies music, and John Wayne. Later in his life he earned a B.A. from Sonoma State. Steve ran a successful business in Clearlake and always lended a helping hand to family and friends. He loved to grow his own vegetables and always had a garden. Steve was proud of his home in Clearlake and lived his remaining days there. He is preceded in death by his sister Kathleen Marie Mitchell; parents Forrest and Marlys Mitchell; grandparents William and Marcella Biesemeier; grandfather Lon Mitchell; Uncles Deacon and Oscar Biesemeier; Aunts Janice and Patricia Biesemeier, Deborah Eiden; Nephew Daniel Mitchell. He is survived by brothers Michael (Barbara) Mitchell; William (Shelly) Mitchell; Lesley Bautista, Nancy (Steve) Waters and Kelly Ross, six nephews, four nieces, four great nephews and eight great nieces.
